SRI RAMACHANDRA GRAMEENA VIDYA VIKASA KENDRA TRUST SCHOOL

   SRGVVK Trust School was established in 1990 with the motto of providing free education and healthcare to underprivileged, downtrodden rural children, and ensuring that they receive the same level of education as urban children. Additionally, all children should have access to free education. No child should be denied education or suffer from malnutrition or ill health.

Smt. Rohini was the founder of SRGVVK Trust School. Her dream was to provide co-education to below poverty background children. She passed away in 2021 during corona period. Now Mr. M C Venugopal is the executive trustee along with two trustees.
 The Trust selected a village named Vaddarapalya in Bangalore South and started the school in a small rented room with 13 children. The villagers in this area are illiterate and have no good habits. The parents often send their children for child labor. The Trustees convinced the parents and brought their children to the school. The Trust provides free education and food. Currently, the Trust is running Pre-Nursery, Nursery, and 1st to 7th standard classes on one of the trustee's land. However, this space is no longer sufficient as the activities are increasing.

So far more than 750 children pass out from our school in 31 years. The impact of our continuous effort helped one girl child who studied in this school becomes Engineer (AMC College). Some are become graduates and working in as BPOs and in good offices and looking after their family and become well behaved citizen. Trust helping students to study further through donors.
The trust is running its activities purely on public donations. Donors are the real pillars of our trust. The school further improved when Edu-GIRLS started providing financial assistance from 2016. Now the school has 300 children from Pre-Nursery to 7th standard and 13 qualified teachers. In addition to this, 36 girls students (grade 8 to 3rd year degree) are pursuing their higher studies under the CDP (career development program) with the help of Edu-GIRLS.

 The Trust provides free education with uniforms, textbooks, writing materials, mid-day meals, nutrition drinks, medical camps with medical aids, and educational trips with the help of donors. The school is recognized by the Government of Karnataka Education Department.

• 36 girl students are receiving scholarships under the CDP program through Edu-GIRLS for higher education.

• One girl was placed as Fasion Designer in a reputed firm under the CDP program in 2023.

• One girl in second PUC is preparing for the NEET exam for MBBS admission through the CDP program.

• The pass rate for the board exam in 2022-2023 was 85%, compared to the statewide rate of 75%. Out of the total, 57% passed with First Class and 30% with Distinction.

• Girls in grades 4 to 7 take ASSET tests, which are taken by 350,000 children in 1000 English medium private schools, enabling progress to be tracked continuously.

• Teachers are independently tested every year for their subject knowledge and pedagogical skills.
